Blessed Voices Choir: A Journey of Music and Unity

The Blessed Voices Choir (BVC) which sings during the 11:30 am Mass is a vibrant and diverse group of singers who are united by their love of music and their desire to praise God through song. The choir’s journey began in the early 2000s when a small group of parishioners from various religious communities came together to share their musical talents. Over the years, the choir has grown and evolved, welcoming members from all walks of life, Working Professionals, international students, and religious brothers and sisters from diverse nations.

A Choir with a Global Reach

Today, the BVC is an international choir, reflecting the rich diversity of cultures and traditions that make up our community. This diversity has been a source of great strength for the choir, allowing members to learn from each other’s musical traditions and broaden their horizons. The choir has had the privilege of interacting with over 15 different African nationalities, gaining insights into their cultures and enriching their collection with new songs.

Continuous Growth and Development

Despite its international reach, the BVC remains firmly rooted in its local community. The choir continues to grow in 2023, attracting new members and expanding its musical horizons. Choir practice takes place on Saturdays at 4 pm and on Sundays at 10 am, providing opportunities for members to learn new songs, perfect existing ones, and receive music lessons.
