Youth Serving Christ
Are you a young person (aged 18-24) looking for a supportive community
Youth Serving Christ (YSC) is more than just a group; it’s a Family. We provide a platform for fellowship, sharing, and encouragement as you navigate the challenges and opportunities of your youth. Whether you’re facing struggles in school, relationships, or simply figuring out your place in the world, YSC is here for you.
Here’s what you can expect with YSC:
- Unveiling Hidden Talents: YSC is a breeding ground for potential. We celebrate the discovery of hidden talents, just like Natasha Angela’s captivating performances or Lorine Kanana’s mesmerizing dance moves. Your unique gifts have a place to shine here!
- A Dedicated Sunday Mass: In 2023, YSC secured its own dedicated Sunday Mass at the Spiritan Chapel. Led by our inspiring Youth Chaplain, Fr. Ernest Ahanoutu, these services offer spiritual reflection and personal growth. But it doesn’t stop there! Post-mass discussions tackle real-world issues like careers, relationships, and mental health, providing holistic support for our members.
- Faith and Resilience: We’ve faced challenges, but our unwavering faith has seen us through. When leadership was lacking, the perseverance of moderator Xavier Yego, a true “mtu wa kujituma” (man of initiative), kept us moving forward. Together, we demonstrate the power of faith and resilience,
