About Us
Welcome to the St. Anne Jumuia! We are a vibrant Catholic community of 17 families belonging to the St. John the Evangelist Parish in Karen, Nairobi.
Our Mission
St. Anne’s Jumuiya is dedicated to:
- Deepening our faith: We provide spiritual nourishment for our members and their families through various initiatives.
- Serving our community: We actively support the church and the wider St John community.
- Holistic well-being: We promote the emotional, physical, and spiritual well-being of all our members.
Jumuiya Leadership
Our Jumuiya is guided by a dedicated team of officials:
- Moderator
- Vice Moderator
- Secretary
- Treasurer
- Liturgist (Rotational among members)
Our Activities
We foster a strong sense of community through various activities:
- Weekly Meetings and Masses: We gather for spiritual reflection and celebrate Jumuiya masses every Thursday.
- Jumuiya Calendar Events: We organize enriching events throughout the year, including retreats, charity drives, social initiatives, team-building exercises, festive celebrations, and participation in parish events.
- Family Visits: We cultivate a spirit of care and support by visiting the families of our Jumuiya members.
