Welcome to St. Josemaria Escriva Jumuiya, a blossoming Catholic community in the heart of the parish!
A Flourishing Family
Though just over a year old, St. Josemaria Escriva Jumuiya has become a vibrant hub for individuals and families who share a passion for faith, family, and service. We believe in fostering a welcoming environment where all ages can learn and grow together.
Rooted in Faith, Grounded in Love
Our inclusive Jumuiya meetings are designed for the whole family. Led by dedicated Sisters and Brothers, we delve into the teachings of Christ, fostering a strong foundation of faith for all our members.
Friendship and Service: A Cornerstone of Our Community
With over half our members being children, teenagers, and youth, our Jumuiya brims with youthful energy and enthusiasm. We actively participate in various parish groups, nurturing a spirit of service and fellowship. We are particularly proud of our four dedicated altar servers and over 20 trained lectors who contribute meaningfully to parish life.
A Place to Connect and Grow
Our regular meetings, held every two weeks after the 8.00 am Sunday Mass, provide a platform for spiritual growth and connection. Additionally, monthly gatherings hosted at a member’s home solidify our sense of family and belonging.
Values that Bind Us
Respect, warmth, and acceptance are the cornerstones of our community. We celebrate each other’s triumphs and offer unwavering support during challenging times.
Making a Difference: A testament to our Service
In 2023, we organized a heartwarming shoe drive, collecting an impressive 380 pairs of shoes for children in need. This initiative exemplifies the impact our small community can have on others, reminding us of the importance of serving those around us.
