Announcements 31st Sunday in Ordinary Time Yr A

1. All children and teens will have Mass today at 9.00am and at 11.30am in the parish main hall.
2. Youth Serving Christ will have Mass today at the Spiritan Chapel at 30am. They will also have another Mass coming Sunday in the parish main hall at 11.30am.
3. Church Group meetings today are as follows:-
   • Self-help – Gazebo A – after 2^nd Mass
   • Lay Carmelite Associates – Gazebo near canteen – after 2^nd Mass

4. Weekly Masses this week are as follows: –

5. Western Deanery Choir will have Christmas concert coming Saturday here at the parish starting with Holy Mass at  8:30am.
6. We shall celebrate the solemnity of all Souls day tomorrow, Monday 2^nd November at Lang’ata Cemetery at 1.00pm. All parishioners with relatives buried at Lang’ata cemetery are encouraged to attend so that the graves of their loved ones are prayed for and blessed after Mass.
7. The month of November is dedicated by the catholic church to pray for the departed souls. Therefore, throughout this month, there will be a box inside the church marked “For Departed Souls”. All Christians are encouraged to pick Mass intentions forms for the departed souls on that box, fill the names of their loved ones and drop inside that box for them to be prayed for.
8. Coming Sunday is our Tithe (10%) contribution day for the month of October. Let us prepare and be generous.
9. We shall have PPC General meeting on Sunday 15^th November in the parish main hall after the 2^nd All leaders from all small Christian communities, church groups and all outstations are encouraged to attend.
10. All boys aged 9 to 17yrs will have a day of Hiking at Ngong Hills on Saturday 21^st Parents with boys in this age bracket are encouraged to fill the registration form at the table outside the church.
11. Parents with children below 5yrs and would like them baptized are encouraged to register them for baptism in the catechist office before next Sunday 8^th
12. Mary Queen of Apostles Parish, Dagoreti Market is notifying parishioners of the boy’s rite of passage programme which is scheduled to take place from 15^th November to 25^th November at Waithaka Special School. The program will be run by the CMA group. Prior to the commencement of the program there will be a parent/guardians meeting on Saturday 7^th November at the same venue. For more information, please visit the noticeboard outside the church.
13. Miriam Nakoi, a publisher from Turkana visited our parish last Sunday to sell her book and other items. She is very grateful for your support to enable her cater for the elderly in her community.

1. Kwaya zote kutoka Dekania ya maghariba watakuwa na tamasha za Krismasi Jumamosi ijayo hapa parokiani kuanzia saa mbili unusu asubuhi.
2. Kesho, Jumatatu tarehe 2 Novemba, tutaadhimisha Sikukuu ya wafu katika Makaburi ya Lang’ata saa 1:00 mchana. Waumini wote wa parokia ambao ndugu zao wamezikwa katika Makaburi ya Lang’ata wanahimizwa kuhudhuria ili makaburi ya wapendwa wao yaombewe na kubarikiwa baada ya Misa.
3. Mwezi wa Novemba umetengwa na Kanisa Katoliki kwa ajili ya kuwaombea marehemu. Kwa sababu hiyo, katika mwezi huu wote wa Novemba, kutakuwa na sanduku ndani ya kanisa lililoandikwa “For departed Souls”. Waumini wote wanahimizwa kuchukua fomu za nia za Misa zilizowekwa hapo kwenye sanduku hilo, kujaza majina ya wapendwa wao waliofariki na kuziweka ndani ya sanduku hilo ili waombewe.
4. Jumapili ijayo ni siku yetu ya kutoa zaka (10%) ya mwezi wa Oktoba. Tujitayarishe na tutoe kwa moyo wa ukarimu.
5. Kutakuwa na mkutano wa PPC General Jumapili ya tarehe 15 Novemba katika Ukumbi Mkuu wa Parokia baada ya Misa ya pili. Viongozi wote kutoka Jumuiya zote, vikundi vya kanisa na vigango vyetu vyote wanahimizwa kuhudhuria.
6. Wavulana wote wenye umri wa miaka 9 hadi 17 watakuwa na siku ya kupanda milima (Hiking) katika Milima ya Ngong Jumamosi tarehe 21 Novemba. Wazazi wenye wavulana wa umri huo wanahimizwa kujaza fomu za usajili kwenye meza iliyo nje ya kanisa.
7. Wazazi wenye watoto walio chini ya umri wa miaka 5 ambao wangependa watoto wao wabatizwe wanahimizwa kuwasajili katika ofisi ya katekista kabla ya Jumapili ijayo, tarehe 8 Novemba.
8. Parokia ya Bikira Maria Malkia wa Mitume, Dagoreti Market, inawaarifu waumini kuhusu programu ya jando ya wavulana itakayofanyika kuanzia tarehe 15 Novemba hadi tarehe 25 Novemba katika Shule ya Watoto wenye Mahitaji Maalum ya Waithaka. Programu hii itaongozwa na kikundi cha CMA. Kabla ya kuanza kwa programu hiyo, kutakuwa na mkutano wa wazazi na walezi Jumamosi tarehe 7 Novemba katika eneo hilo hilo. Kwa maelezo zaidi, tafadhali tembeleeni ubao wa matangazo ulio nje ya kanisa.
9. Miriam Nakoi, mchapishaji wa vitabu kutoka Turkana, alitembelea parokia yetu Jumapili iliyopita kuuza kitabu chake na bidhaa nyingine. Anatoa shukrani zake za dhati kwa msaada wenu, ambao utamwezesha kuwahudumia wazee katika jamii yake.
10. Tunawashukuru wote walioshiriki katika kuongoza na kuratibu Misa ya leo. Mungu awabariki kwa wingi. Uratibu wa Misa Jumapili ijayo utakuwa kama ifuatavyo:

• 9:00am  asubuhi – Jumuiya ya Mt. Agostino
• 11: 30 Am  asubuhi – Vijana wa YCA
• 5:00 pm jioni – Jumuiya ya Mt. Yohane Mwinjili
