Infant and Children’s Baptisms (Aug 2024)
A New Beginning
On Saturday, August 31, 2024, St. John the Evangelist Parish witnessed a beautiful and meaningful event as over 13 infants and children received the Sacrament of Baptism. This sacred ritual marks the beginning of a new life in Christ, cleansing the soul from original sin and any other prior sins.
The Baptism ceremony was conducted by Parish Priest, Fr. Martin Kipchumba Chepsat, with the assistance of Catechist Charles Kimani. The solemnity and joy of the occasion were palpable as parents, godparents, and loved ones witnessed their children’s spiritual rebirth.
