CATHOLIC BISHOPS PAY TRIBUTE Fr. Paddy Roe CSSp

The community in Ruaraka recently gathered to honor the life and legacy of Fr. Paddy Roe CSSp, who peacefully passed away at Beaumont Hospital in Ireland on Wednesday, March 19th, 2025. A moving Requiem Mass was held on Monday, March 24th, 2025, at the Queen of Apostles Seminary, where Fr. Paddy served as Rector.

This solemn occasion brought together many whose lives were touched by Fr. Paddy’s dedicated service and unwavering faith. The Mass was a heartfelt tribute to a man who dedicated himself to the formation of future priests, bishops, and the spiritual well-being of the community.

Bishop Simon Peter Kamomoe (Auxiliary Bishop) and Bishop Peter Kimani (Embu Diocese) offered poignant tributes during the Requiem Mass. Both bishops shared their reflections on Fr. Paddy’s impact, his leadership at the seminary, and the lasting impression he left on countless individuals.
