ANNOUNCEMENTS – 13^TH SEPTEMBER, 2026

24^TH SUNDAY IN ORDINARY TIME – YR A

1. Today is our Tithe (10%) contribution day for the month of August. Let us be generous in building the church of Christ here on earth.
2. YSC have Mass today in the Parish Main Hall at 11:30am.
3. Church group meetings today are as follows: –

• Josemaría Escrivá- after 1^st Mass -Room 4
• Sacred Heart of Jesus – Gazebo – after 2^nd Mass
• Jude Thaddeus – Gazebo – after 2^nd Mass
• Padre Pio- after choir Practice
• Augustine- Church -1:30 pm
• Cecilia – Shrine of the Apostles – 1.30pm
• Michael – Church – 1.30pm
• John the Evangelist –Marian Grotto– 2:00 pm
• Francis – Church – 3.00pm
• CWA Olive cell – Mary Wangui– 3:00 pm

4. Comboni missionaries have visited our Parish today to promote their Magazine entitled “New People” at 200 per copy and at Kes.1500 annual subscription. They also have other products at the table outside. Let us visit and support them.
5. Spiritan Prayer group is a devotional group that usually meets every Tuesday in the Parish Main Hall at 3:00 pm. They are humbly inviting Parishioners who may be willing to join their group to attend their prayer meetings every week.
6. Holy Ghost Fathers (Spiritans) are cordially inviting all Parishioners to the Diaconate Ordination of their 13 Brothers this coming Friday, 18^th September here at the Parish. The celebration will start at 10:00 am, and the Main Celebrant will be Rev. George Muthaka, Bishop of Garissa Diocese.
7. Our Parish usually has Adoration of our Lord Jesus Christ in the Holy Eucharist every Tuesday from 6:00 am followed by Holy Mass at 7:00 am, and every Thursday from 5:00 pm, followed by Holy Mass at 6:00 pm in the Adoration Chapel. You are all welcome.
8. Coming Sunday, 20^th September, there will be Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament at 3:30pm, followed by evening Mass at 5:00 pm. All are encouraged to come.
9. PMC and MYM will have Mass coming Sunday 20^th Sept at 00am and at 11.30am in the Parish main Hall.
10. Upendo Choir, CMA and St. John Widows will have their meetings next Sunday in their respective places.
11. All CMA members and all parish men will have a day of recollection coming Saturday 19^th September at Mazzanti House, Little Sister of St. Theresa, near Hemingway’s Hotel, starting at 9.00 am, and thereafter rehearsals for those being commissioned at St. John. All men are encouraged to register at the table outside the church. Commissioning for new members will be coming Sunday, 20^th
12. John the Evangelist small Christian community will have a day of recollection coming Saturday 19^th at the resurrection garden.
13. National prayer day this year will be held on Saturday, 3^rd October 2026 at Subukia Marian Shrine, in Nakuru Diocese. Limited space is available and therefore members willing to attend are encouraged to register in the Parish Secretary’s office during weekdays & at the table outside the Church today. Please register in time.
14. The Archdiocese of Nairobi Beatification Office is urgently requesting all Catholics to pray for the beatification of the servant of God Maurice Michael Cardinal Otunga. We are kindly requested to report any graces granted through his intercession to the ADN Beatification Office.
15. We shall have a second collection next Sunday for Archdiocesan Youth Serving Christ group to support their annual national contribution.
16. Tangaza University College will visit our parish next Sunday to promote the Institute of Spirituality and Religious formation programme and also sell their products.

JUMAPILI YA ISHIRINI NA NNE – MWAKA A

1. Leo ni siku yetu ya kutoa fungu la kumi ya mwezi Agosti. Tafadhali tuwe wakarimu kulijenga kanisa la Kristu hapa duniani.
2. Vijana wa Youth Serving Christ watakuwa na Misa leo kwenye ukumbi mkuu wa parokia kuanzia saa tano unusu asubuhi.
3. Mikutano ya vikundi vya kanisa leo ni kama ifuatavyo:-

• Jumuiya ya Mt. Josemaria Escriva – baada ya Misa ya kwanza
• Kikundi cha Moyo Mtakatifu wa Yesu – Gazebo – baada ya Misa ya pili
• Jumuiya ya Mt. Yuda Taddei – Gazebo – baada ya Misa ya pili
• Jumuiya ya Mt. Padre Pio – baada ya zoezi la kwaya
• Jumuiya ya Mt. Agostino – Kanisani – 1.30pm

4. Shirika la Mapadre wa Comboni wametembelea Parokia yetu leo ili kuuza nakala la gazette lao liitwalo “ New People” kwa shilling mia mbili (Ksh 200). Pia linauzwa kwa Shilllingi elfu moja mia tano kwa mwaka moja. Wako na bidhaa zingine kwa meza hapo nje ya kanisa.
5. Kikundi cha Maombi cha Spiritan ambao hukutana kila Jumanne kwenye ukumbi wa Parokia saa tisa kamili. Wanawakaribisha wakristo wote ili wajiunge na kikundi chao.
6. Shirika la Roho Mtakatifu  (Spiritans) wanawaalika Wakristo wote kwa moyo mkunjufu kwenye sherehe ya kuwekwa wakfu kuwa shemasi kwa ndugu zao kumi na watatu itakayofanyika Ijumaa ijayo ya tarehe 18 hapa Parokiani. Sherehe hii itaongozwa na Askofu George Muthaka kutoka Jimbo la Garissa saa nne Asubuhi.
7. Kila wiki huwa tunaabudu Yesu katika Sakramenti ya Ekaristia Takatifu hapa Parokiani siku ya Jumanne kuanzia  saa kumi na mbili Asubuhi  ikifuatiwa na Misa Takatifu saa Moja Asubuhi. Pia, kila Alhamisi kuanzia saa kumi na moja jioni, ikifuatiwa na Misa Takatifu saa kumi na mbili jioni. Wakristu wote wanakaribishwa.
8. Kutakuwa na kuabudu Yesu Kristu katika sakramenti ya Ekaristia takatifu Jumapili ijayo kuanzia saa tisa unusu na baadae Misa ya jioni saa kumi na moja. Nyote mwakaribishwa tumwabudu Kristu kwa pamoja.
9. Watoto wote chini ya umri wa miaka kumi na saba watakuwa na Misa Jumapili ijayo kwenye ukumbi wa parokia saa tatu na saa tano unusu.
10. Kikundi cha wajane wa kike, Kwaya ya upendo na kikundi cha CMA watakuwa na Mikutano yao Jumapili ijayo.
11. Kikundi cha CMA wanawaalika wanaume wote wa parokia kwenye siku ya tafakari itakayofanyika Jumamosi ijayo huko Mazzanti House, Little Sister of St. Theresa karibu na hoteli ya Hemingways kuanzia saa tatu asubuhi na baadaye zoezi hapa kanisani kwa wenye wataapishwa. Wanaume wote wanahimizwa kujisajili kwa meza hapo nje ya kanisa. Watakaopewa jukumu maalumu, wataapishwa Jumapili ijayo.
12. Jumuiya ya Mt. Yohane Muinjilisti watakuwa na siku ya tafakari Jumamosi ijayo katika shamba la ufufuko kuanzia saa nne asubuhi.
13. Siku ya maombi ya kitaifa mwaka huu itafanyika Jumamosi ya tarehe tatu Oktoba huko Subukia Marian Shrine, Jimbo la Nakuru. Wakristu ambao wangependa kushiriki wanaombwa kujiandikisha katika ofisi ya katibu wa parokia katikati ya wiki au kwa meza hapo nje ya kanisa leo.
14. Ofisi ya Jimbo Kuu la Nairobi inayoshughulikia mchakato wa kutangazwa mwenye heri inawaomba kwa dharura Wakatoliki wote kusali kwa ajili ya kutangazwa mwenye heri kwa Mtumishi wa Mungu, Kadinali Maurice Michael Otunga. Tunaombwa kwa heshima kutoa taarifa kwa ofisi hiyo kuhusu neema yoyote iliyopatikana kupitia maombezi yake.
15. Kutakuwa na mchango wa pili Jumapili ijayo wa kikundi cha Youth Serving Christ cha Jimbo kuu la Nairobi ili kusaidia mchango wao wa kila mwaka.
16. Chuo kikuu cha Tangaza watatembelea parokia yetu Jumapili ijayo ili kutufahamisha mengi kuhusu programu ya taasisi ya kiroho na malezi ya kidini. Pia watakuwa na bidhaa zingine za kuuza.
17. Tunawashukuru waliohudumu Misa ya leo. Mungu awabariki sana. Watakaohudumu Misa Jumapili ijayo ni wafuatao:-

• 7:00 asubuhi  –  Familia ya Alex Gichuhi na Maurice Terer
• 9:00 asubuhi –  Wanaume wa CMA
• 11:30 asubuhi –  Kikundi cha haki na amani
• 00 jioni –  Shirika la Caracciolin

SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT

The parish is organizing for a special Parish Mashujaas Mass to be held on Saturday 24^th October. This targets the aged parishioners, those unable to attend Mass due to ailments or any other condition, their families and well-wishers. For planning & logistics, you are requested to register your own or on behalf of someone. Please share the information with others, to reach as many as possible to be part of this blessings. More information to be shared later.

TANGAZO MAALUMU

Parokia yetu inaandaa Misa maalum ya Mashujaa wa Parokia itakayofanyika Jumamosi, tarehe 24 Oktoba. Misa hii inawalenga wakristu waliozeeka, wale wasioweza kuhudhuria Misa kutokana na maradhi au sababu nyingine yoyote, pamoja na familia zao na watu wenye mapenzi mema. Kwa ajili ya maandalizi na uratibu, unaombwa kujisajili mwenyewe au kwa niaba ya mtu mwingine. Tafadhali sambaza taarifa hii kwa wengine ili kuwafikia watu wengi iwezekanavyo na kuwa sehemu ya baraka hizi. Taarifa zaidi zitatolewa baadaye.
